I personally think the interest only mortgage hurt borrowers in the end, since the differene is so big that people find it hard to couple. Its a product only for smart borrowers, and not someone looking to get whatever they can, just to move in into that big house. Once the time for higher rates comes or for mortgage refinance many have no choice but to foreclose.
